What to expect in class

Heart Dance is a guided, collective dance journey lasting between 90 minutes and two hours. Set within a lush, carefully curated soundscape, the body is invited into motion - creating a field of movement that is playful, deep, and richly embodied. There is no choreography to follow, just the wisdom and inspiration of your own moving body.


We begin gently, moving through cycles of stillness and intensity as the music unfolds. The journey draws from a wide range of musical genres - from house to classical and everything in between. If it speaks to the heart, it belongs.


At its core, Heart Dance is relational. We dance not only with our inner world, but with each other, the space, the music, the collective field, and all that is unseen. It’s an invitation to be fully human-to explore, heal, play, dismantle old stories, and discover new pathways.


This is a Safe, Inclusive, Intoxicant-Free Space


Who is Welcome

Heart Dance is for all humans with a body. If you’re breathing, you’re dancing. There are no steps to learn, no performance to give, and no expectations to meet.


A few simple agreements

*Safety is our first priority: any form of aggression or abuse will not be tolerated.

*If you’re unwell, please consider our community and stay home.

*Please wear comfortable, easy-to-move-in clothing - tops are to remain on.

*We dance bare feet or in soft dance-shoes

*We invite you to be fully present for the duration of your Heart Dance experience.

*All devices should remain off - no phones, photography, filming, or Shazaming please.

Through continual practice, the dance becomes our both our medicine, our meditation, our social melting pot and a space for self care - on all levels. This is where we attend to our physical, mental, emotional, social and spiritual well-being.


When we dance regularly in community, our edges soften. We open toward ourselves and each other until we feel a sense of belonging to something larger than ourselves.

Dancing together is, of course, fun, connecting, empowering, and energising - a space to remember joy, courage, and connection alongside the heartbreak, confusion, and overwhelm of our shared humanity. Thankfully - the dance is large enough, generous enough, and safe enough to hold it all.
